Pembroke Power plant construction:

CMCS was contracted to monitor 2 sections of projcet.

The jetty wall

• A total of 15 sensors were used to monitor deflections in the jetty wall.

• Sensors connected to a logger box where a solar panel is used to keep the logger batteries charged up.

• Data collect at user adjustable intervals with a onsite alarm system should any limits be exceeded.




Pembroke coffer dam


• A total of 8 extensometers were installed between the coffer dam and the concrete structure behind it.

• All 8 sensors were connected to a logger box where data was stored at regular set intervals.

• A solar panel was used to keep the logger batteries charged up.

• A total of four alarm systems were installed at the top and bottom of both stairwells.
